74th Capping, Badge Investiture, and Candle Lighting Ceremonies

SDG3 SDG4 SDG5

The Iligan Medical Center College (IMCC) College of Nursing and Midwifery proudly celebrated its 74th Capping, Badge Investiture, and Candle Lighting Ceremonies on February 26, 2026, at the IMCC Review Center. This milestone event honored the dedication, discipline, and compassion of nursing and midwifery students as they formally embraced their calling to serve humanity through health care.

The capping and badge investiture symbolize the students’ transition into the clinical phase of their training, marking their readiness to uphold the values of competence, integrity, and service. The candle lighting, inspired by Florence Nightingale’s enduring legacy, represents the light of knowledge, compassion, and hope that nurses and midwives carry into every community they serve.
