Iligan Medical Center College (IMCC) is celebrating another major milestone as its B.S. Social Work graduates achieved outstanding results in the recently concluded Social Worker Licensure Examination (SWLE) held on September 9, 10, and 11, 2026. Leading this year’s exceptional batch of passers is Almira Areita Caye, RSW, a Magna Cum Laude graduate who secured the Top 11 spot nationwide with an outstanding board rating of 91.20%. Her remarkable achievement brings immense pride to the IMCC College of Arts and Sciences and highlights the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and human service.

Overall, IMCC graduates significantly outperformed national benchmarks across all evaluation categories during this exam cycle:

• First-Time Takers: An impressive 62% passing rate, with 55 out of 65 examinees successfully earning their licenses.
• Overall Institutional Performance: A stellar 89% passing rate, with 74 out of 95 total examinees passing the exam.
• National Comparison: Both categories successfully surpassed the Overall National Passing Percentage of 76.27%.

This exceptional institutional performance directly reflects the rigorous training, dedication, and high standard of education maintained by the IMCC B.S. Social Work Program.
