The theme for World AIDS Day on December 1, 2025, is “Overcoming Disruption, Transforming the AIDS Response.” IMCC is taking part. This event shows that the school is serious about spreading knowledge about HIV, disseminating accurate information, and supporting activities that safeguard health and dignity. The Iligan City AIDS Council and the City Health Office’s Gender and Development Office and Reproductive Health and Wellness Center are working together to put on the celebration. This will help the city battle HIV and AIDS by bringing together more groups.
To fulfill this challenge, IMCC-NSTP volunteer students set up an advocacy booth on campus. The booth had educational and creative elements, such as visual displays, posters, interactive games, and symbols of support for those living with HIV. The students helped promote messages of understanding, acceptance, and healthy habits by combining creative with advocacy. This supported IMCC’s goal of getting people involved in the community and improving public health.
The HIV Booth Making activity at the festival got schools and groups to work together, be creative, and take part. The purpose is to get students and community groups involved in HIV advocacy by making booths that spread the word about prevention, early detection, treatment, and eliminating stigma. This method helps create a friendly and supportive space, which makes learning and awareness more fun and useful.
