March 15, 2026 – To honor International Women’s Month, the Office of the Dean of Student Affairs and NSTP Facilitators worked together on an information campaign to raise awareness about women’s rights. They handed out informational brochures all throughout campus and held interesting discussions in several rooms, reaching over 300 students. The program provided a fun and accessible way for participants to learn about the importance of respect, gender equality, and the protection of human dignity.
The effort was more than just an information campaign; it had students thinking and talking about their role in making the school a safe, welcoming, and respectful place to learn. It emphasized that empowerment begins with awareness and that every individual has the responsibility to uphold and protect the rights of others, especially women in all spaces of society.
Along with the information campaign, there was a bloodletting event held in cooperation with Amai Pakpak Medical Center of Marawi City . Many of the donors were women. Their involvement showed compassion, bravery, and solidarity, showing how important women are as caregivers and change agents in the community. The exercise not only saved lives, but it also showed how strong, responsible, and socially responsible women can be in improving the lives of others. Through this joint effort, the school showed again that it is dedicated to raising people who are socially responsible and building a culture based on empathy, respect, and working together.
