Iligan Medical Center College (IMCC) wins First Place in the Best in Research Competition during the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA) 36th Annual General Assembly on December 5, 2025 at Novotel Manila, Araneta City. The assembly carries the theme “Future-Proofing Education: Quality and Employability through AI Innovation and Sustainability Standards” and gathers around six hundred participants from accredited schools and programs nationwide.
The award was received by IMCC President, Dr. Royce S. Torres.
The winning research paper, “Designing the Graduate Competitiveness Index in Industry 5.0 as a Quality Assurance Framework for Employability and Global Readiness,” was presented by its primary author, Dr. Mark M. Alipio, Dean for Academic Affairs. The paper is co-authored by Dr. Royce S. Torres and Dr. Helen S. Tejero, Research Director.
This recognition strengthens the commitment of IMCC to research-based quality assurance, employability, and global readiness, in line with its vision of becoming a premier non-sectarian university.
