Theme: “Reimagining Social Work Education: Innovating for an Inclusive, Intergenerational, and Sustainable Future.”
Iligan Medical Center College (IMCC) proudly took part in two significant national gatherings that advanced the vision of inclusive and future-ready social work education: the NASWEI 51st Biennial Convention held at the Grand Xing Imperial Hotel, and the JSWAP National Assembly 2025 at the Uswag Nutrition Center, Mandurriao, Iloilo City, Philippines.
At the NASWEI Convention, Rogel Equirne D. Sudaria, RSW, MSSW, represented IMCC alongside the nation’s leading social work educators. His presence underscored IMCC’s strong commitment to advancing quality education, professional innovation, and meaningful collaboration for the future of the profession.
Meanwhile, at the JSWAP National Assembly, IMCC’s student leaders proudly joined two days of leadership building, national collaboration, and advocacy for young social work practitioners. Representing IMCC were Hamimah Radiamoda (Chapter President) and Almina Mustapha (Chapter Secretary), who actively engaged in discussions and activities that empowered the next generation of social work advocates.
Together, these events highlight IMCC’s dedication to nurturing both educators and students in the field of social work—ensuring that the institution contributes to building an inclusive, sustainable, and socially responsive future.
