The College of Criminal Justice Education Department of Iligan Medical Center College (IMCC) successfully conducted the Forensic Photography: Crime Scene Photography Simulation and Workshop last September 20, 2025, at the IMCC Covered Court—an immersive and impactful event that brought forensic theory into vivid, hands-on practice.
With the theme “Photographic Documentation as a Forensic Tool: Enhancing Investigative Accuracy,” the workshop empowered 2nd year BS Criminology students with essential skills in crime scene documentation, evidence preservation, and investigative photography. Through simulated crime scenes and guided exercises, participants gained practical experience that strengthens their readiness for real-world investigative work.
We were honored by the presence of our distinguished guest speaker and judge, PCPL Roderick Bunao, RCrim., MSCJ, whose expertise and insights enriched the learning experience. His message underscored the vital role of forensic photography in ensuring accuracy, integrity, and justice in criminal investigations.
Special thanks to Prof. Federico H. Gonzaga Jr., whose leadership and vision brought this workshop to life. His commitment to experiential learning continues to elevate the College of Criminal Justice Education Department and inspire future law enforcers and forensic professionals.
