The College of Education of Iligan Medical Center College (IMCC) proudly held its Pinning Ceremony for Pre-Service Teachers on January 13, 2026. This annual tradition serves as a symbolic rite of passage, marking the readiness of education students to transition from academic preparation to hands-on teaching practice.
The ceremony signifies more than just the wearing of a pin—it represents the students’ commitment to the noble profession of teaching. With their pins, the pre-service teachers are formally recognized as ready to be deployed to various schools, both private and public, for their internship. This stage allows them to apply their knowledge, skills, and values in real classrooms, engaging with learners and communities beyond the college walls.
