SDG2 SDG4 SDG10 SDG16

December 28, 2025 – The Iligan City People’s Council and Iligan Medical Center College put on the First Boodle Feast for Children on December 28, 2025, as part of the Iligan Year-End Salosalo–Tapoktapok sa Kabataan. Around 200 kids and their parents from different parts of Iligan City came together for the event. It aimed to promote unity and inclusivity through a shared communal experience.

The boodle feast was the first of its sort in the city. It showed that everyone was equal, friends, and respected one another. Eating together helped kids make friends. The program also included games and play activities led by CGRY, a youth group in Iligan City. These activities helped the kids work together, have fun, and engage constructively with each other.

At the end of the activity, the children got school kits as gifts. The NSTP students of Iligan Medical Center College donated these school supplies as a sign of their dedication to volunteering and education. The activity strengthened community bonds and highlighted the importance of unity, shared responsibility, and care for the well-being of every child in Iligan City.
