3K Festival Lights Up IMCC Foundation Day 2025

Iligan City, October 10, 2025 — Iligan Medical Center College came alive from October 7 to 10 as the campus transformed into a vibrant hub of celebration for this year’s Foundation Day, proudly themed “IMCC 3K Festival – Marvel Heroes.” The four-day event brought together students, faculty, and staff in a spirited showcase of talent, unity, and school pride.

This year’s festivities carried a unique twist: a Marvel Heroes sub-theme that added color and character to every corner of the campus. Department banners proudly displayed their chosen Marvel icons, while students embraced the theme in creative ways — none more dazzling than the candidates of Miss IMCC 2025, who each embodied their favorite Marvel heroine during the coronation night.

Held on the evening of October 9, the Miss IMCC pageant was a highlight of the festival. With elegance and confidence, each candidate took the stage dressed as a Marvel character — from fierce warriors to brilliant strategists — blending pop culture with poise and advocacy. After a stunning display of talent and personality, the crown was awarded to the representative from the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management, who was named Miss IMCC 2025. The First Runner-Up title went to the candidate from the College of Nursing and Midwifery, both earning admiration from the IMCC community.

Beyond the pageant, the IMCC 3K Festival was packed with activities that energized the campus:

  • Ball Games: Volleyball, basketball, and sepak takraw matches brought out the competitive spirit and camaraderie among departments.
  • Literary Contest: Budding writers and speakers took the spotlight in essay writing, spoken word, and oration — celebrating the power of language and expression.
  •  E-Games Tournament: Mobile Legends and DOTA competitions showcased the strategic skills of IMCC’s digital warriors.
  •  Indoor Sports: Darts and table tennis offered precision-based challenges, drawing enthusiastic participation and support.
  •  Student Night: The final evening featured a lively Student Night held on campus, with a live performance by Kapagintaw Band that had students singing, dancing, and celebrating under the stars.

The festival concluded with the awarding of winners from all competitions — a proud moment for students who gave their best in every event.
